Control valves operating on the sliding gate principle

The GS valve product line adjusts and controls liquid,steam and gaseous media accurately, quickly and efficiently. A sealing plate set in the body perpendicular to the direction of flow has a number of slots of equal height across its face. A disc, with the same slot configuration and designed so that it cannot turn, runs vertically against it thereby changing the flow crosssection. The pressure difference present forces the moving disc against the fixed disc.

The design demands much less actuation force compared to a globe valve, which works directly against the flow. The Wafer type body for installation between flanges results in a compact, light and easy to handle valve.
